Today’s tune is another request, this time from music lover & curator of the South Manchester Music facebook page John Ashurst. John and I met quite a number of years ago around various folk clubs, jazz bars and other gigs round Manchester and he’s always been supportive, encouraging & enthusiastic! I’ve played this tune as long as I can remember, for Morris dancing, ceilidhs, sessions… it’s relative simplicity makes it great fun to mess about with a bit!
