Become A Friend of Furness Tradition

We are currently working hard to put together a really good programme for our 24th annual Furness Tradition Festival. 

The aim is for one of those weekends of dance, song, tunes, stories and workshops that is just magic.  It’s a year’s worth of work for the main organisers who are all volunteers and worth every bit of the effort. 

Every extra penny we can raise just improves the festival, ensures the continuing work of Furness Tradition and the security of future festivals.

The festival is on the 8th to the 10th of July. But costs continue to rise and so the challenge of matching income with costs remains.

So, if you’re coming this year or hoping to come to the next one, please help us make this year’s festival as brilliant as it should be and help ensure it’s future!

Please consider sponsoring us for 2022.  Sponsorship does more than just raise money it gives visible support which helps with funding applications (and is really good for committee spirits to know we have some support!!) 

The terms are changed from previous years as we are now eligible for Gift Aid. You can pay online, just fill in the form below and pay by using BACS or use your regular debit or credit card. You don’t have to be a PayPal user.

We have made some changes to our sponsorship scheme, primarily because we are now eligible for Gift Aid.

There are 4 levels of sponsorship – Friend, Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Gift Aid is a government scheme which means Furness Tradition can claim an extra 25p for every pound you give – at no cost to you. It will apply to all donations made since April 2014 and all future donations made to Furness Tradition.To allow us to claim this Gift Aid tax relief of 25p on every pound you give, please complete and submit the form below.

The Festival brings a large number of visitors into Ulverston for up to 4 days and the commercial benefit to the town is significant alongside the enrichment it brings to the town’s cultural experience.

Are you interested in working in partnership with us to promote and develop the Festival for the benefit of the community?

This could be a straightforward donation, or could be to sponsor a specific event at the festival. For example, sponsorship of a concert under your company banner would be £500 – £1000 depending on the event, a tuition workshop would be £200-£300.
