Head Over Reels are an exuberant and energetic barn dance and ceilidh band with countless years of collective experience, boasting some of the UK’s finest folk and country dance musicians.
The band consists of fiddle, guitar & accordion, flavoured with own contemporary twist. Add to that our friendly, experienced caller to take you step by step through all the moves, and you’re all set for a fun & inclusive night of dancing for all ages.
Between them, Head Over Reels have a huge amount of studio & live performance experience, working with artists such as Tony Christie, BBC Folk Award winners The Unthanks, Mercury winner Richard Hawley and many more, hosting parties for such famous guests as Sting, and co-ordinating Scottish dancing for a Netflix series. Live work includes tours of Europe and the United States, Glastonbury’s main stage, Sidmouth Folk Week, Latitude and Green Man festivals, plus many of the country’s most prestigious concert venues including The Royal Albert Hall, and Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall.
