Brothers Dan and Sam Mason first met Anj Ward at Crook Morris and Kendal Revellers. They soon found a shared love of harmony singing, and it wasn’t long before they began to sing together as a trio. The name they chose, Eskrigg, is the name of a local ancient wood near where they live.
As well as playing for ceilidhs, Dan, Sam and Anj sing traditional (and modern) folk songs in three part harmony. In May 2019 they won the acoustic performers competition at the Upton-Upon-Severn Folk Festival.
