Tom Bradley at the Dickensian Festival

We are sad to learn of the passing of Tom Bradley. He died peacefully in his sleep on 6th January. Tom and his good friend Caroline Watson have supported Furness Tradition from it’s very early days. Every year he would grow a beard for the Dickensian Festival, and have it removed with a sponsored shave at our winter gathering. We were very pleased to see him come to last year’s festival despite his poor health. His obituary sums him up very eloquently: ‘a good friend to many.’ He will be sadly missed.

His funeral takes place at 11.30 am on Friday January 16 at Barrow Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations can be made to Rotary charities. For more information contact Coop Funeralcare Tel: 01229 582167.
