The Festival is managed and run by Volunteers and could not survive without them.
We need volunteers to manage the festival, not only during the event itself but also before and afterwards. You must be reliable, confident and enjoy working with others. You need to be at least 18 years of age on 31st May 2023. Above all you will be an Ambassador for the Festival and a source of information for our visitors.
In return you will receive a free Stewards’ pass which admits you to all events (space permitting), and a free programme as well as having a great time!
If stewarding at the Festival does not really appeal to you – but you would like to get involved and support the Festival in other ways, we would love to hear from you.
The quantity of time that you have available is not relevant as long as you are enthusiastic and willing to work with other like minded people. There are many one-off jobs in the build up to the festival in addition to year round administration tasks, e.g.
- Updating our databases
- Maintaining the website
- Dealing with social media
- Researching new funding opportunities
- Prepare post festival evaluation
- Helping with local promotional activities
- Distributing festival publicity
- Erecting signage in and around the site
