Original compositions for smallpipes, fiddle, flute or concertina by John Hazlehurst.
All proceeds from the sale of this tune book go to charity in Burkina Faso.
Burkina Faso, in West Africa, is rated one of the five poorest countries in the world.
More than 60 local languages are spoken, and because of the poverty and the language situation, less than 20% of adults can read or write. ANTBA (Association Nationale pour la Traduction de la Bible et l’Alphabetisation) is the biggest provider of ‘mother tongue’ literacy classes and materials in Burkina Faso, and its print shop Imprimerie LOGOS produces illustrated books and reading materials in many of the local languages.
This book is an example of the quality of their work, and all proceeds from its sale will be donated back to ANTBA. For more information about ANTBA or LOGOS, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org in English or French!
